The history of Venchi began in 1800 in Piedmont, thanks to Silviano Venchi’s passion for chocolate.

At 16 years old Silviano began to create chocolates in his shop in Cuneo: in a short time his chocolate shop became the most famous in the city, appreciated for the extraordinary quality of the ingredients and for the unparalleled ability to present his creations as if they were jewels. A real “chocolate boutique”.

The company was officially founded in 1878. The same year Venchi launched its Gianduiotto 1878 with a minimum of 32% of Piedmont PGI hazelnuts, a product now iconic.

With a history of 140 years, today Venchi is an Italian company that has achieved international recognition: more than 350 chocolate recipes, 90 flavors of ice cream and seasonal sorbets, present in over 70 countries with monobrand stores around the world and in key cities such as London, Beijing, Hong Kong, New York, Dubai.
